Late night opening Wiertz Museum Brussels Museums Nocturnes

Nocturne

The Wiertz Museum, with its original atmosphere, is dedicated to painter, sculptor and writer Antoine Wiertz (1806-1865), a somewhat controversial figure of the Belgian Romantic movement. Discover his authentic artist’s home studio in the Léopold district of Brussels and let yourself be swept away in the excesses, between romanticism and scenes of fear.

Brussels Museums Nocturnes

Between 13 September and 6 December 2018, 73 museums in Brussels invite you to discover them in a novel way. Every Thursday evening from 5pm to 10pm you can head off and visit at least five museums to explore a Brussels of unsuspected districts, treasures and charms. New exhibitions, workshops, music, food and drink, unique guided tours and much more besides promise to soften the first signs of winter.

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium will participate on two occasions: the Meunier Museum will open its doors on the 20th of September, the Wiertz Museum on the 11th of October!
