The Cultural Mediation Department offers guided tours, lectures and workshops for young and old, either individually or in groups. In addition, the Made to Measure programmes offer guided tours tailored for groups of people with disabilities or special needs.

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium aim to make their rooms and collections accessible to each visitor. Made to Measure offers guided tours, creative courses, workshops and themed activities tailored to specific audiences. In this way everyone has the opportunity to visit the museum in a personal and adapted way, regardless of disability, culture, language or any other restriction.

The following are the themes offered, but a visit à la carte is always possible.

Art, violence and Society

"Art, violence and society" is a pilot project, concieved by the Maecenas Cirle wtih the support of 4Wings Foundation.
The accompanying tour covers seven artworks from the medieval times until now. It mainly targets teachers and students in secondary and higher education and focusses on several aspects of violence in art in order to reflect upon contemporary society.
