Fine Artschool From Classroom to Museum, a Journey in 3D
From 23 May to 30 August 2026, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium present the creations of 250 pupils, developed as part of an educational programme and inspired by the work of Walter Leblanc, Jo Delahaut, Victor Vasarely and Arman.
The exhibition Fine Artschool: from Classroom to Museum, a Journey in 3D brings together these student works with pieces from the museum’s collection. The pupils, from 16 classes across 5 schools in Brussels and Wallonia, took part in a guided visit followed by three in-class workshops organised by the non-profit organisation Artschool.
Through a variety of techniques—including pastel, watercolour on textile, clay and plaster sculpture, painting on cork, relief-making, as well as music and theatre—each child explored their creativity in response to the artworks studied in class.
