Michel Mouffe Thinking the veil
Focus exhibition
>
The exhibition presents a new series of works that the artist has specifically created for the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
Mouffe’s paintings take the visitor on a journey into the enigmatic world of colours. Between clarity and darkness, overwhelming feelings immerse the visitor into art works that express the artist’s quest for colours and light.
Michel Mouffe was born in 1957 in Brussels. His first exhibition was held at the end of a one year stay in a house by Le Corbusier that he used as a studio. Since 1983, Mouffe exhibited his work in various European countries, in Asia and in the US. He lives and works in Brussels, Le Poët-Laval (France) and in La Mola (Spain).
