Point of View(s)
Dialogue
>
In pairs (‘duo-duals’) or in threes (‘trios’), works from our 19th, 20th and 21st century collections confront, support and complement each other in novel combinations proposed by MrBAB's Cultural Mediation team. Side by side, the exhibits take on a new light. They engage in a dialogue, or even a ‘trialogue’ with visitors, whose active participation is stimulated.
What's your take on it? The layout of the rooms in Point of View(s) invites you to sit down in front of the works and let your thoughts emerge, free from any pre-established discourse: take your time, compare, associate, let your gaze linger, be surprised or challenged... Every point of view counts; it's the gaze that makes the work.
Point of view(s) brings together icons from our collection of modern and contemporary art, including Josef Albers, Francis Bacon, Robert Barry, Anna Boch, Marcel Broodthaers, Christo, Lucio Fontana, Fernand Khnopff, Andres Serrano, Vincent van Gogh, Rik Wouters and many others.
