From 23 July to 25 August, the Royal Palace of Brussels will play host to the fourteenth Science & Culture at the Royal Palace event. In this context, the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the FPS Science Policy Office (Belspo) and the Federal Scientific Institutes (FSI) present “The Moon: between Dream and Reality”, an exhibition that promotes Belgian cultural and scientific heritage through a splendid selection of objects and artworks that combine what are sometimes very different disciplines.

Organised by the Federal Science Policy Office, this exhibition is a tangible expression of one of Belspo's key missions to make Belgian and international audiences aware of research activities, whilst also revealing the superb federal heritage stored within its federal scientific institutions. Science and culture come together around this lunar theme, with an original selection of artworks, scientific instruments and astonishing natural phenomena, the study or creation of which stems from the wonder of artists or scientists expressing their vision of the world and their desire for greater understanding.
