The teams of the previous phase were reinforced by those of the University of Leiden, the Facultés Notre-Dame de la Paix de Namur, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The team of the RMFAB is continuing the research of Bruegel the elder started in the sixth phase. They concentrate on the circumstances of urban memory, especially on the example of Bruegel and his way of capturing the customs and habits of the citizens of his time.
