The ARTIMuSI project, a FED-tWIN research initiative supported by BELSPO, focuses on improving sustainability impact measurement and reporting in non-profit organizations and public service organizations, with a specific emphasis on the museum sector.
This project places a strong emphasis on data and digitization aspects, aiming to develop data-driven decision-making tools for the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (RMFAB).
The research consists of two primary tracks:
- A scientific research track seeking to advance methodologies and applications of sustainability assessments, particularly focusing on data usage in non-profit and public service organizations.
- An action-oriented research track focused on the RMFAB, centering on the development of customized tools for sustainability impact assessment and the implementation of an efficient impact reporting strategy.
The focus on data and digitization within ARTIMuSI is crucial to support RMFAB and similar institutions in making informed strategic decisions. By utilizing advanced data processing and analysis, ARTIMuSI aims to provide deep insights into various aspects of museum management and sustainability practices, and to develop practical, scalable solutions that can be applied within the broader museum sector.
